experts in teeth, champions of fun
The People Behind The Magic (And The Toothbrushes)

At Crescent Kids Dentistry, our story begins with a legacy where kids feel confident and families feel supported, founded by Dr. Laura Durham. Today, that legacy is carried forward and elevated by Dr. Aubrey Stroud, who is leading the practice into an exciting new chapter. Together with a team of talented, caring professionals, Dr. Stroud ensures that every visit strikes the perfect balance between expertise and fun.
Under Dr. Stroud’s leadership, Crescent Kids Dentistry is dedicated to making dental care feel less like a chore and more like a joyful experience for kids and parents alike. We’re building on the strong foundation laid by Dr. Durham to create a practice that’s better than ever—one where smiles grow brighter, visits feel easier, and families know they’re in the best hands.
creating healthy smiles, one happy kid at a time
Dr. Aubrey Stroud
Dr. Aubrey Stroud grew up in the charming small town of Tyrone, just outside Peachtree City, GA. From an early age, her dedication and teamwork shined both on and off the softball field, where she played at Truett McConnell College. Her academic journey led her to the University of West Georgia, where she earned her B.S. in Biology and Chemistry in 2015.
education
Dr. Stroud’s passion for pediatric dentistry blossomed during her time at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. As president of the Periodontology Club, she demonstrated her leadership and commitment to advancing her craft. She continues to stay at the forefront of her field as an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
approach
But Dr. Stroud’s story is more than degrees and accolades—it’s about connection and care. As a mom of two boys, she understands firsthand the importance of creating a positive, welcoming experience for kids (and their parents!) at the dentist. Whether she’s calming first-visit jitters or helping young patients feel proud of their healthy smiles, Dr. Stroud brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love for what she does to every appointment.
outside the office
When she’s not making kids smile, Dr. Stroud enjoys cheering on Georgia football and Lakers basketball, traveling, and trying out new Pinterest recipes. An active member of her church, she values family time above all, whether it’s a weekend adventure or quiet moments at home with her husband and sons.

outside the office
When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll find Dr. Laura enjoying the simple joys of life: riding horses, sipping coffee, getting lost in a good book, or hitting the road with her husband for their next adventure. Family is at the heart of everything she does—her three children, all Auburn University graduates, are her pride and joy. WAR EAGLE!

Dr. Laura’s kind, compassionate spirit makes her an integral part of the Crescent Kids team, ensuring every patient feels cared for, whether they’re walking on two legs or four.
